A celebration of Pete Frames
Rock Family Trees, and the rock photography of Peter Anderson
Launch Party with live music, Saturday 13th November.
Featured on a two series
documentary titled Rock Family Trees, Pete Frame started drawing
his Rock Family Trees
in Zigzag, Britains first rock magazine, which he founded
in 1969. Dubbed the worlds foremost chronicler of
rock
history by The Observer, these trees depict the historic
family ties of some of the greatest Rock minds the world
has seen. From the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Iron Maiden, Status
Quo and Eric Clapton, you can see and
buy a host of the trees which will be on show in the upstairs
rock n roll setting at The Elgin. Joining
the exhibition
is photographer Peter Anderson with a host of musical greats
epitomised in all their glory, with images of
Marvin Gaye, Mick Jagger and more.
The exhibition is open to
the public on:
